New windows for over 400 homes in Ballymagroarty

SINN Féin Councillor for Foyleside Conor Heaney has welcomed the news that the Housing Executive window replacement scheme for the Ballymagroarty estate should be ready to proceed by June:

Said Cllr Heaney: “My party colleagues Mickey Cooper and Karen Mullan MLA had successfully lobbied the Housing Executive to carry out a window replacement scheme to their properties in the area. Unfortunately the works were delayed due to Covid.

“I have now been informed that surveys to the properties are almost complete and works should start by June provided there are no further delays due to Covid.

“This will provide 425 properties in the estate with new windows and will undoubtedly be welcomed by Housing Executive tenants.

“I will continue to provide further updates as I receive them.”
