THREE people have been arrested in Derry this week following searches and the seizure of £28,000 worth of drugs and a large amount of ‘dirty cash’.
Police Derry City and Strabane say: “Foyleside and Moor Neighbourhood Team along with our Tactical Support Group colleagues conducted a number of premises searches this week in relation to the supply of controlled drugs in the Derry City area.
“As a result of this investigation, we have seized a considerable quantity of cash, Class A Controlled Drugs and Class B Controlled Drugs with a street value of approximately £28000.
“Three people have been arrested and our enquiries are ongoing.
“There is no place for drugs in our community.
