POLICE from Derry city have taken another dangerous uninsured quad bike off the public roads.
Police Derry City and Stabane District say: “Waterside Neighbourhood Policing Team 1 were busy yesterday in Claudy.
“This Quad was uninsured, had no number plates or lights, and was being driven up Main Street, (with no helmet to boot).
“It’s now safely off our streets.
“A Report will now be sent to PPS.
“Shortly after, we issued a £200 fixed penalty for driving whilst using a mobile phone.
“We will continue to keep people safe by ensuring road users are fully legal.”
