One further death, 445 new cases in North

THE Department of Health has reported a further 445 cases in the last 24 hours in the North of Ireland.

That is a fall of 160 on figures given yesterday for Thursday.

Sadly, one further death has been reported bringing the department’s total number of deaths, mostly in hospitals, to 2,157.

To date a total of 2,115,735 vaccines have been administered in the North of Ireland.

The Department’s dashboard does not operate at the weekends and will return early next week after the bank holiday.
