THE PSNI have made a fresh appeal for information over an assault in Derry earlier this month.
A Police Derry City and Strabane spokesperson said: “As part of our investigation into an assault in the city centre on July 4th we are making a specific appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of Shipquay Street around 2.15am (about half way up) and witnessed an assault on two men in their 20s to get in touch.
“It is understood a number of perpetrators were involved and a female may also have been in the group.
“If you can help please ring 101 and quote reference 329 of July 4th.”
