A 35-year-old man arrested in Derry yesterday by detectives from the PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit investigating the activities of the new IRA, has been released following questioning.
He was detained under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act over four paramilitary shootings in the city earlier this year.
A PSNI spokesperson said the investigation remains ongoing.
Two other men were arrested earlier this week for questioning were also released after 24 hours of questioning.
