Several thousand people are still waiting to do their driving tests since the easing on lockdown restrictions.
Said Mr Middleton: “I have received a growing number of complaints from constituents regarding the back log of driving tests, and the ability to book new appointments.
“This is having a significant impact on those who require a driving license for employment or training.
“It is unacceptable that drivers are still facing lengthy delays in accessing these services.
“It is crucial that the Minister for Infrastructure builds on the progress seen in recent weeks to proactively tackle gridlock in the system.”
