A 30-year-old man arrested on Saturday, August 28 by detectives investigating an incident in the Galliagh area of Derry has been released following questioning.
The incident remains under investigation.
The man was arrested following an INLA show of strength at Fern Park on Friday, August 20.
Up to a dozen masked men dressed all in black appeared at a memorial to INLA hunger striker Mickey Devine on the 40th anniversary of his fast to death in the Maze prison.
Two of the men then fired up to ten rounds from two assault rifles to a small, cheering crowd.
The masked gang then dispersed.
Unionist politicians have called for an investigation by the Police Ombudsman after the PSNI said it believed a show of strength would take place but decided not to deploy resources into the area for “public safety” reasons.
