THE Department of Health has reported a further 1,812 new Coronavirus cases in the North of Ireland in the past 24 hours.
That’s a rise of 564 on figures given yesterday for Thursday.
There have been a further seven deaths, bringing the Department of Health’s total number of deaths from the virus (mostly in hospital settings) to 2,401.
At the weekends and on bank holidays the Department does not publish its online dashboard which gives a detailed breakdown of infections and deaths across all 11 council areas here.
The dashboard will be updated again on Monday, September 6 at 2 pm.
To date, a total of 2,459,543 vaccines have been administered across the North of Ireland.
