POLICE say officers have made further seizures of drugs in Derr city as part of Operation Deal Breaker.
Police Derry City and Strabane say on its Facebook page: “Waterside Neighbourhood Policing officers have had a busy few days, dealing with a wide range of issues from driving-related incidents to serious drug-related offences.
“In response to concerns raised by you, we recently detained several motorists driving without licences, and seized two cars.
“On a different note, we recovered a significant quantity of Class B drugs following a search of two properties in Strathfoyle and Caw.
“We also seized an amount of Class B drugs following the stop and search of a vehicle in the Caw area.
“Drugs are a major area of concern for members of our community, bringing nothing but heartache to individuals and their loved ones who are inevitably left to pick up the pieces.
“Through Operation Dealbreaker, we remain committed to tackling the issue of illegal drugs – it’s an absolute priority for us.
“It is thanks to your input that we are able to act and continue to carry out robust investigations.
“We will continue to listen to you. Anyone with information or concerns, should contact us on 101.
