DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit have searched two homes in Derry today, Thursday, December 9.
The searches, with support from local neighbourhood police officers and officers from Tactical Support Group, were cwonducted on two residential properties in the Cityside area of Derry, as part of an ongoing investigation into violent dissident republican activity.
A number of items were seized and have been taken away for further examination, said a PSNI spokesperson.
