Said Cllr Logue: “I welcome the news that after a very long campaign new traffic calming, and road humps are due to be installed on the Lonemoor Road.
“It’s evident that most vehicles are travelling through the area in excess of 30mph.
“This will hopefully increase road safety for motorist’s, pedestrians and local residents.
“I would appeal to both motorists and pedestrians to take care when work begins on this scheme and let any new system bed in.”
