A 44-year-old man was arrested under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act earlier today, Tuesday, April 19 and he remains in custody.
A number of searches were also carried out at addresses in Creggan this afternoon.
Six other men, also arrested under the Terrorism Act yesterday, remain in custody at this time.
Another man, aged 40, was also arrested on suspicion of disorderly behaviour and resisting police on Monday.
He has now been charged and is to appear in court on May 11.
Police came under attack on Monday from youths throwing petrol bombs from inside the City Cemetery after officers moved in to make arrests.
A colour party of masked men and women dressed in paramilitary-style clothing had earlier marched into the cemetery from the Bogside.
The Saoradh march coincideded with the third anniversary of the murder of Lyra McKee at Fanad Drive in Creggan on Thursday, April 18, 2019.
The Parades Commission had imposed restrictions on the march including a prohibition on the display of symbols or banners relating to proscribed organisations after a complain from Ms McKee’s family.
The violence at the cemetery has been condemned by politiicans and church leaders.
