A seventh arrest has been made by police in Derry following a notified parade in the city yesterday, Easter Monday, April 18.
The man, aged 45, was arrested overnight under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act.
He remains in custody this morning.
Five other men arrested yesterday under the Terrorism Act also remain in custody at this time.
A 40-year-old man arrested on suspicion of disorderly behaviour and resisting police has been charged to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court on May 11.
As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
Police came under attack with missiles and petrol bombs after officers moved in to arrest masked men and when who took part in the Saoradh parade from the Bogside to the City Cemetery on Monday afternoon.
Politicians from across the political spectrum have condemned the attacks on police.
