A 29 year-old-man arrested as part of the ongoing investigation following a parade in Derry on Easter Monday, April 18, has been released pending report to the Public Prosecution Service.
Six other men arrested in the city under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act remain in custody at this time.
They were detained on Monday after a Saoradh parade finished at the City Cemetery.
As police moved in to make arrests against a masked colour party dressed in paramilitary style clothing, officers came under attack from within the cemetery by youths who hurled missiles and petrol bombs.
The violence has been widely condemned by police, politicians and church leaders.
The parade took place on the third anniversary of the New IRA murder of journalist Lyra McKee who was shot dead by a teenage gunman as she observed rioting in Creggan’s Fanad Drive on April 18, 2019.
Three men have been charged with her murder and a number of others have been charged with rioting on the night which was orchestrated by the New IRA.
