Detectives conducting an ongoing investigation following a parade in Derry on Monday (18th April) have opened a dedicated online site to which information can be uploaded.
Detective Inspector McCallum says photographs and footage, including footage from mobile phones and dash cams, can be uploaded to the ‘Major Incident Public Portal’ (MIPP) by going online at: https://mipp.police.uk/operation/PSNI22R10-PO1
Said DI McCallum: “Our investigation into offences committed during Monday’s parade will continue over the coming days and weeks as we work to bring offenders to justice, and we would ask anyone with information which may help our investigation to use the MIPP.
“They can also call us on the non-emergency number 101.”
Information can also be submitted online by using the non-emergency reporting form via: http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/
You can also contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online at: http://crimestoppers-uk.org/
Following the parade on Easter Monday, April 18, eight men were arrested.
Seven of these arrests were made under the Terrorism Act, and these men have all been released pending report to the Public Prosecution Service.
A 40-year-old man arrested for public order offences has been charged to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court next month.
