Two men have been arrested by police in Derry as part of an ongoing investigation following a parade in the city on Monday 18 April.
The men – aged 46 and 49 – were arrested under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act, following searches of residential properties in Creggan and Bishop Street areas earlier today, Tuesday, June 7.
They have been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite in Belfast for questioning.
Following the parade on Monday 18 April, 11 men have been arrested to-date.
Ten arrests have been made under the Terrorism Act: eight of those arrested were released pending report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The two men arrested today (7 June) remain currently in police custody for processing and questioning.
One man arrested for public order offences was charged to appear before court on May 11.
After the parade finished at the City Cemetery, police moved in to stop a number of cars carrying men who took part in the parade dressed in paramilitary style uniforms.
As a result, officers came under attack from petrol bombs by youths who had stashed the devices in the grounds of the city cemetery.
