Essential engineering works are taking place on Derry railway line this weekend, with bus substitutions in place.
The engineering work is scheduled to take place this Sunday, January 8.
Translink says passengers using Botanic and City Hospital stations travelling on the Derry line should use bus substitution services from Great Victoria Street and Lanyon Place stations in Belfast.
Belfast:
* Derry line – Bus substitution between Antrim, Lanyon Place and Great Victoria Street
· Passengers from Botanic and City Hospital travelling to Derry Line station should use bus substitution services from Belfast Great Victoria Street and Lanyon Place.
· Normal train timetable between Antrim and Derry as per journey planner
· Passengers travelling between Belfast and Mossley West should use Metro Service 1d
· NI Railways tickets will also be valid for use on Ulsterbus and Metro scheduled services.
· Yorkgate station not operational – serviced by Metro.
Derry:
· Normal train timetable between Derry and Antrim
· Bus substitution service between Antrim, Belfast Lanyon Place and Great Victoria Street
· NI Railways tickets will also be valid for use on Ulsterbus including 212 service and Metro scheduled services.
