Mayor’s reception celebrating FSR’s 30th anniversary

The Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Councillor Sandra Duffy making a presentation to Stephen Twells and the staff of the Foyle Search and Rescue at a function in the Guildhall on Wednesday evening to mark their 30th anniversary.

FSR say on its Facebook page: “Big thank you to Mayor of Derry City & Strabane District, Cllr Sandra Duffy, for hosting a wonderful reception for our volunteers in recognition of our 30th Anniversary.

“Safe to say our volunteers had a swell night with food, drinks, and reminiscing through old scrapbooks!

“Keep an eye on our social media, and you may get a little peek through those scrapbooks too!”
