Christine McKane, her brother Dan McKane and their aunt Julia McSorley from nearby Newtownstewart died when their minibus collided with a lorry on the A5 Tullyvar Road, Aughnacloy on Thursday morning past.
The family had been returning home to Strabane, from another aunt’s Funeral in England when the accident happened.
The funeral of their aunt Julia McSorley will take place this morning, Sunday, April 30.
A family notice reads: “Mc Sorley (nee Mc Kane) Newtownstewart.
“Suddenly as the result of a road traffic accident 27th April 2023, Julia R.I.P.
“Beloved wife of Patsy and the much-loved mother of Patsy, Maria, Shane, Colin and Julie, dear sister of Ina and the late Mary, Anne, Danny, Don, Margaret and Bridie R.I.P.

Christine McKane (aged 49) was a much-loved mum of three, and a doting grandmother to her grandchildren Danny and Róise.
Dan (aged 54) was a father of two.
Arrangements: Dan and Christine’s remains will repose at the McKane Family Home, 29, Innisfree Gardens, Strabane.
Funeral from there on Monday (May 1) at 11.15 a.m. for Requiem Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strabane at 12 noon.
Interment afterwards in Strabane Cemetery.
