Two hospitalised after Co Derry two-vehicle collision

Two people have been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Co Derry.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said paramedics were called to the crash on the Glenshane Road near Dungiven at 4.27 am on Sunday, May 28.

Three ambulance crews attended the incident and treated two people at the scene before taking them to Altnagelvin Area Hospital.

The Glenshane Road was closed for much of Sunday but was reopened just after 9 pm.
