Derry New IRA commander Thomas Ashe Mellon (47), of Rathmore Road in Derry, appeared charged with failing to notify the PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit about his use of a motor vehicle on December 9, 2022.
He was further charged with failing to notify police about a telephone number on February 20, 2023.
Both offences come under Section 54(1)(a) of the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008.
Under the act, Mellon must inform police within three days of the offence.
The case will be mentioned on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
In October 2021, Mellon was convicted for failing to notify police of two bank accounts he had opened and was given an absolute discharge for a period of 12 months.
