Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Councillor Patricia Logue, has hosted a civic reception at the Guildhall for two local priests.
Fr Con McLaughlin and Fr Declan Boland are celebrating 50 years as priests.
Last month, Bishop of Derry Diocese, the Right Rev Donal McKeown, held separate Masses for the priests celebrating their Golden Jubilees in the priesthood.
Said Mayor Logue: “It was a real pleasure to welcome Fr Con McLaughlin and Fr Declan Boland to the Guildhall for a civic reception yesterday.
“Both have recently celebrated their golden jubilee in the priesthood.
“I was delighted to acknowledge their dedication and commitment over the years.”
