Police Derry City and Strabane say it is aware of sporadic public disorder in the Galliagh area of Derry this evening, Monday, August 7.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Damage has been caused to a number of vehicles.
“We are advising motorists and pedestrians to avoid the area.
“Police are in attendance and an update will be issued in due course.”
UPDATE: Police say crowds that gathered in the Galliagh area of Derry on Monday, August 7, dispesered around 2 am on Tuesday, August 8.
District Commander Superintendent William Calderwood said: “We would like to thank members of the public for their patience and co-operation during the disruption.
“We will continue to monitor the situation.”
