Detectives from the PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit carried out a search of a property in the Victoria Place area of Derry on Sunday, September 10, as part of an ongoing terrorism investigation.
A 48 year old man was arrested under the Terrorism Act and has been taken into custody for questioning.
As part of the investigation to date – two men aged 22 & 41 and a 26 year old woman arrested on Thursday, September 7, one woman aged 50 arrested on Friday, September 8, and a 43 year old man arrested on Saturday, all detained under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act, remain in custody at this time for questioning.
