Firearm recovered from searches in Derry’s Creggan estate this afternoon by police
The charges are in connection with an ongoing terrorism investigation following last week’s pre-planneed searches in Derry last week.
The man, aged 43, has been charged with offences for possession of firearms and explosives.
He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates’ on Thursday, September 14, for a first remand hearing.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
