Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to an assault injuring a fire fighter.
The incident took place on the City Side of the Craigavon Bridge at around on Friday evening, January 5, around 7 pm.
Police Derry City and Strabane say: “A firework was thrown at emergency services attending the incident, injuring a Fire Fighter.

DUP Foyle MLA Gary Middleton tweeted about the incident: “This is a sickening attack on our emergency services.
“I urge anyone with information to bring it forward to the PSNI.”
