POLICE say overnight snow and ice has made driving conditions difficult across the North of Ireland this morning.
Motorists are urged to exercise caution, particularly on untreated roads.
They are advised to slow down and increase your braking distance from the vehicle in front.
A Met Office Yellow Warning for ice for the North of Ireland is in place on Wednesday.
Salting of roads on the scheduled network considered to be at risk of ice and snow has been undertaken through the night.
A secondary salting operation is now under way across many parts.
Dfi Road Engineers will continue to monitor the weather and road surface temperatures and will undertake further salting of the scheduled network if required.
