He is to appear before Derry Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, April 3.
The charge follows the man’s arrest on Sunday afternoon, March 0, by officers responding to a report of burglary at a house on Culmore Road in the city.
As is normal procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
