The PSNI say officers from Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Policing Team seized a large quantity of controlled drugs yesterday in relation to an investigation into drug supply within the city.
Police Derry City and Strabane say: “A search was conducted of a property in the Carnhill area, and suspected Class B and Class C Controlled Drugs were seized.
“A number of people were arrested on suspicion of drug-related offences and later released on bail to allow for further police enquiries.
“We know the illicit supply, possession or misuse of drugs is a concern in the community.
