Joe Allen

A leading US Anti war activist will give his thoughts on the current crisis in American politics over the actions of Israel in Gaza.

In a meeting organised by People Before Profit, activist and author Joe Allen will speak on ‘Biden’s Genocide Complicity and the Future of the US Empire’.

Allen is the author of several books on US politics, foreign policy and Labour relations.

These include, Vietnam the Last War the US lost and his most recent book on the struggle for Trade Union rights within United Parcel Service.

Allen has been active in radical politics for over four decades and has been at the forefront of the US Anti War struggle.

A People Before Profit spokesperson said: “It’s a honour to have Joe here to speak. The world is horrified by the US regime’s complicity in the genocide in Gaza.

“Joe will give us an American view on how Biden’s actions have been received in the United States and on the prospect of a Trump presidency.”

The meeting takes place in St. Columb’s Hall at 7pm this Wednesday, April 17.
