A picture has popped up on social media channels showing a PSNI liveried with a parking ticket in Derry.
The image was shared on Facebook, much to the amusement of people commenting underneath.
The PSNI car is parked on Strand Road about 100 yards from the local police station.
It seems to be facing the wrong way on the right-hand side of the road.
However, the PSNI has clarified that someone has taken a parking ticket off another vehicle and placed it on the cop car.
The vehicle registration number is on the ticket so police were able to trace the original owner.
