Police have charged two men to court following searches conducted in the Station Road area of Magherafelt on Sunday, 12th May, where £68,000 worth of suspected cannabis was seized.
The men, aged 34 and 36, were charged with a number of offences, including being concerned in supply of a Class B drug, using a motor vehicle without insurance, dishonestly using electricity and cultivating cannabis.
They are expected to appear before Magherafelt Magistrates’ Court, sitting in Derry Magistrates’ Court, this morning, Tuesday, May 14, for a first remand hearing.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
