The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene of a tractor on fire in Co Derry.
The fire service said it received a call around 7.31pm on Thursday evening and two appliances were dispatched to the incident on the junction between the Star of the Sea Chapel and Greysteel into Derry.
“We received a call at 7.31pm about reports of a vehicle on fire, the incident is still on going with two appliances. A hose jet is currently in use and one set of breathing apparatus,” a spokesperson said.
In a social media post on X, formerly Twitter, SDLP East Derry MLA Cara Hunter shared two photographs of the vehicle on fire.
“WARNING: Tractor on fire in Greysteel by the chapel,” she posted on the social media website.
“I’ve reported to fire service. They’re on there way. Please stay away from this area. Hope all involved are okay.”
