Well-known GAA couple convicted over boozy street brawl

Niall and Kerri Bradley were caught on CCTV attacking another couple

A former Derry GAA star and his wife have been convicted of assaulting another couple in a shocking boozed-up brawl that was caught on camera.

Niall and Kerri Bradley — both well known in GAA circles in Derry — were filmed in a late night video nasty last October.

The former footballer was filmed launching a volley of punches on Dylan Wilkinson while his award-winning HR boss wife Kerri was caught on camera assaulting Mr Wilkinson’s fiancé Alannah Mullan and throwing her out on to the road.

CCTV footage taken from the takeaway was shown several times to the court.

Mrs Bradley told the court the other woman had called her a volley of derogatory names but this was rejected by the judge who pointed out at the time Bradley alleged these things were being said you could see the other woman’s mouth “was not moving”.

The judge also told Kerri Bradley he “didn’t know” which CCTV she had been watching but it must have been a different one the court was being shown!

The CCTV also proved that Niall Bradley had also assaulted the woman by grabbing her hair and hitting her in the face and that he had sparked the violence by laying into the man with a volley of unprovoked punches after words had been exchanged between the two couples.

The disgraced pair, who are both 37, will be sentenced on Wednesday, July 10, following sentence reports.

Kerri and Niall Bradley, who have two kids, were, until last year, part of a joint management team of the Derry GAA Minor camogie team.

Niall played senior football for Derry a decade ago but his club career at Greenlough GAC was cut short in 2021 after a horrendous injury which saw him being taken to hospital in the NI Air Ambulance to save part of his leg.

The couple are well known and highly respected within Derry GAA circles and Kerri had been the Director of Human Resources at a major Belfast legal firm.

In recent months her profile has been removed from the company website and she has started making podcasts about employment law on social media and even has her own You Tube channel.
