A 34-year-old man has been charged with a number of drug offences in Derry.
He has been charged with possession of a Class A controlled drug, possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply, possession of a Class B controlled drug and being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug.
The suspect is further charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of fireworks without a licence, possessing criminal property and driving while unfit.
He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court on Friday, July 12.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
It is understood the charges are in relation to local policing officers based in Derry seizing a number of items including suspected Class A controlled drugs with an estimated potential street value of £100,000 on Wednesday, July 10.
