The charges are possession of a Class A controlled drug, possession of a Class B controlled drug, possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug and obstructing powers of search for drugs.
As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges follow the man’s arrest on Trench Road in Derry on Tuesday, July 9.
