Bishop Street courthouse in Derry
He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court on Monday, July 22, for a first remand hearing.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charge is in relation to the death of a man at a house in the Culmore Road area in Derry.
The deceased man, Noel O’Sullivan and who was in his 80s, was discovered at a house on Wednesday, July 17.
