The late Noel O’Sullivan
The 84-year-old, a retired orthodontist, was found dead at his Culmore Road home in Derry last week.
His son, John Garrett O’Sullivan, 55, appeared before Derry Magistrates’ Court earlier this week charged with attempting to prevent the lawful and decent burial of his father whose body was found in his home last Wednesday.
A family notice reads: “Dr Noel P O’Sullivan.
“17th July, 2024, unexpectedly at home.
“Beloved husband of Ann, and father of NoelleAnne, Moire and Garrett.
“Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday, July 27 at 12 noon in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn, Derry, followed by private burial.
“Family flowers only please.”
