Derry to Belfast train passengers are being advised of “severe disruption” to rail services this morning following a “tragic incident” in Whiteabbey.
Translink has confirmed that the Derry, Coleraine and Larne line will be closed.
Customers have been advised to make alternative arrangements.
The incident took place at Abbeyville Place Area of Newtownabbey.
It is believed to be the result of a sudden death.
A spokesperson for Translink said: “Following a tragic incident at Whiteabbey, rail services on the Derry, Coleraine and Larne line will be closed this morning.
“Severe disruption is expected.
“We would advise customers to make alternative arrangements.
“Rail tickets can be used on buses.”
