Police say a “substantial” sum of cash has been stolen during a burglary at a house in Derry.
The break-in happened sometime between 11 pm August 21 and 11.20 pm on August 22 in the Beechwood Avenue area.
Police Derry City and Strabane spokesperson said the front door of the house had been forced open and the money taken from a bedroom along with a quantity of medals.
The householder was not at home at the time.
Police have appealed for anyone with information or who saw suspicious activity in the area to come forward to contact them on the 101 number.
