Man charged to Derry court over £10k drugs seizure

Police have charged a 20-year-old man with drug-related offences following his arrest in the Waterside area of Derry on Tuesday, August 27.

He has been charged with being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug, being concerned in the supply of a Class B controlled drug and possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply.

The suspect is further accused of attempted possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply.

The man is scheduled to appear before Derry Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, September 18, for a first remand hearing.

As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
