Eoghán Dawson, 20, died in Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital on Tuesday.
He passed away after a single-vehicle collision at Cross, Quigley’s Point at 11.15pm on Saturday, August 24.
His cousin, Kían Dawson-Kirk, 16, died at the scene and his Requiem Mass was held on Thursday, August 29, at St Brigid’s Church, Carnhill.
A family notice for Eoghan reads: “Beloved son of Lisa Dawson and Connor Smith.
“Loving and cherished grandson of Michael and Michelle Dawson and the late Pat and Hugh Smith, beloved great-grandson of May Dawson and a much loved nephew and cousin.
“An amazing friend and a true gentleman.
“Eoghán’s remains will be reposing in his grandparents’ home, 42 Grainan Drive, Belmont Estate from 6.00pm – 10.00pm on Friday and 12noon – 10.00pm on Saturday and Sunday.
“Funeral from there on Monday, September 2, at 11.45am for 12.30 pm Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn.
“Interment afterwards in City Cemetery.
“Family flowers only please.
“Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to The Men’s Ministry at The Hope Centre, Cornerstone City Church, Duke Street, Derry BT47 6DQ.”
