Police in Derry have seized a vehicle after the driver failed to stop before mounting a kerb close to pedestrians.
The incident happened at around 9.35am on Thursday, when officers on patrol at Southway in Creggan were alerted to the way in which a blue BMW was being driven.
They signalled for the driver to stop, but the vehicle continued on through Creggan and mounted a kerb before eventually coming to a halt.
A PSNI spokesperson said there were members of the public in the vicinity at the time.
“Our enquiries into this incident are continuing, and I want to take this opportunity to appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident, or may have captured relevant footage to call us on 101, quoting reference 353 of 05/09/24,” said a PSNI spokesperson.
