Mr Eastwood said it showed the company’s commitment to Derry and the North West.
Foyle MP Mr Eastwood said: “Alechemy’s decision to move into Ebrington Plaza as part of a multi-million pound investment is a massive boost for our city and a sign of the company’s ongoing commitment to the North West.
“They already employ 150 people here and this is a clear recognition of the talent that exists and the potential to build for the future.
“Alchemy’s expansion will mean more opportunities for people in Derry and it’s a positive sign that more and more companies like this see our city as somewhere they can put down roots and grow.
“Companies like this are so important to our local economy and I hope to see others follow Alchemy’s vote of confidence in this place and its people.
“It’s also welcome that we now have our first tenant at Ebrington Plaza.
“This is a fantastic office space in a prime location overlooking the River Foyle and shows our city has the facilities necessary to cater to major companies.
“I look forward to hearing the announcement of further tenants in the near future and will continue working to attract the necessary jobs and investment to Derry.”
