Four people were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Donegal yesterday evening.
Their injuries are described as non-life threatening.
The incident occurred at around 6.30pm near Glentogher National School, at Carndonagh.
The road was closed for a time.
Donegal Gardai have appealed to the local public to make road safety their New Year resolution.
It comes after a total for 18 people were killed on the county’s roads for the whole of 2024.
This compared to just ten deaths on Donegal’s roads for all of 2023 – an increase of 80%.
