Police in Derry have seized suspected Class B drugs with an estimated street value of approximately £6,500 as well as cash and other items.
The seizures were made during a search conducted by District Support Team officers at a property in the cityside on Wednesday afternoon, February 5.
As part of enquiries, a 21-year-old man was been arrested on suspicion of Possession of a Class B controlled drug, Attempted possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply, and Possessing criminal property.
He has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
District Support Team Inspector Pearce has urged anyone with information, or concerns, about drugs activity in their area to report it.
“Under Operation Dealbreaker, we are actively committed to removing drugs from our streets,” said Inspector Pearce.
“Our approach is not only to pursue, but to prevent drug-related activity and protect communities.
