The 18 charges include Possession of a Class C controlled drug, Possession of a Class C drug with intent to supply, Failing to stop for police, Driving without insurance, Driving without due care and attention, No driving licence, Taking a motor vehicle without authority, and Possession of an article with blade or point in a public place.
As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution.
It is understood the charges follow on from an incident in Eglinton on Monday night, February 10, and the search of a vehicle outside Magherafelt on Tuesday, February 11, during which suspected Class C controlled drugs were seized.
